This is the Work-in-Progress Decorating and Renovating List! It will be nice to see everything crossed off, but the house projects will always be an ongoing adventure :)

Living Room

  • Rewire the entire room. The previous owners really messed up the 3-way wiring (Completed 3/20/10)
  • Paint walls (Completed 4/8/10)
  • Paint trim (Completed 4/8/10)
  • Find curtains (Completed 2/12/10)
  • Purchase new couch/chair
  • Build two of these. (I’ve looked all over for side tables that look like this, but no luck, so hubby and I will build our own!)
  • hang picture wall
  • Purchase an Area Rug
  • Figure out storage for laptops
  • Assemble seasonal decorations (A work in progress for the year!)
  • Finish crocheting blanket for couch
  • Purchase plant stand
  • Build this. (I’m thinking this would make a fantastic little liqueur cabinet until we build the bar in the basement!)
